2. When you’re going up to her, have no expectations. Don’t expect that she’s going to say yes to you and more importantly, don’t expect that she is going to refuse you!

3. If you’re serious about gaining self-confidence and not just around women, try meditating and practicing yoga for a while every day. Nothing works better than this. This helps you stay in a positive frame of mind and that reflects when you’re talking to women.

4. Whenever you’re around women, instead of thinking about all your bad qualities, think of all your positive attributes, your strengths so to speak. This will make you seem more comfortable and at ease and it is a well-known fact that women like easy-going guys!

5. Lastly, when you are about to approach her, don’t spend endless hours debating whether you should or your shouldn’t. JUST DO IT, before all those negative thoughts come rushing in! The first step is often the hardest to take, but after you do, it becomes easier with every move, so go for it.

Ten Hot Tips For Improving Your Self-Esteem!

1. But you are good enough
No matter what you do you feel it isn’t good enough. Is this you? If so this is a powerful belief with its seeds planted firmly in your past. Ask yourself where this belief came from – who could you never please?

2. Write it down
Write down the beliefs this person gave you – all the put downs. You need to go through the garbage to get to the gold – and you will get to the gold.

3. Catch yourself for a good cause – you…
Become more aware of the words you say and the actions you take. Do you criticise yourself when things go wrong? If so then make a note of these as well.

4. Now you’ve got your list start tapping…
I’m a big fan of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping. You tap with your fingertips on energy points (they were discovered thousands of years ago) and repeat the negative belief and say that you accept it and love yourself anyway. This is the opposite of ‘what we resist persists’. The negative energy around the belief and the whole problem gets smaller and eventually dissolves – this stuff really works.

5. Now for the Biggie – Forgiveness
When you hold onto resentment towards any person who did you wrong, you are bound to them by an unbreakable emotional link. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and set yourself free.

6. When you can’t forgive…
If you’ve tried and you just can’t forgive someone understand that they are continuing to harm your self esteem and are keeping you from being the self confident person you would like to be. Forgiving someone isn’t about letting them off the hook, it’s letting yourself off the hook.

7. Be grateful for the past…
When your confidence is low it can be difficult to see what’s good about ourselves and our past. Write down any achievements – big or small – from your life. No one can take those away from you. Include the good friends or good times in your list.

8. Be grateful for a more self confident you…
Now that you’re confidence is growing make a note of any changes – what you’ve done differently recently now that you’ve working on building your self esteem. You may begin noticing yourself feeling a little more positive.

9. Learn and then use confidence building and assertiveness techniques…
There are quite a few assertiveness techniques you can use to build your self esteem. These include The Broken Record Technique and Fogging. You can find these with an internet search or learn them at a confidence workshop.

10. Keep going forward…
Even baby steps count. With the tips for improving self esteem above you will be moving forward to a more confident you…..don’t forget that.

How to Prevent or Save a Dying Conversation

This used to happen to me all the time. No matter WHAT I said, I
always failed to *spark* interest from women.

This kept happening until I learned a little secret about talking
to women…ALL conversations need sexual tension. In order to
attract her, you FIRST need to make her curious AND interested in
who YOU are as a man. (This is a topic that I cover here):

But before we discuss this secret, let talk about a popular
television show called “Lost.”

Hate or love it, you’ve probably heard of “Lost.” Each week
millions of viewers tune in to watch this program. Yet if you
REALLY pay attention, you’d realize that a lot doesn’t happen
with this show.

What’s the secret to the success of “Lost?”

You can answer it with one simple word…CURIOUSITY.

After 5+ years, this show still keeps viewers curious about the
mystery surrounding this island and the characters who inhabit
it.

The great thing about “Lost” is how it keeps people wondering
what will happen next. Sure you’ll get an answer once in awhile.
But when you do, the writers will be sure to raise a few more
questions.

And if you’ve ever talked to a LOYAL viewer of “Lost”, you’d
realize how much they LOVE watching it. This show keeps them in
suspense, never revealing its secrets. Yet people are completely
nuts over it.

You might be wondering how the show “Lost” applies to success
with women.

The answer is simple. Whenever you’re talking to a woman, you
use CURIOSITY to keep her interested. Done correctly, you can
get her to literally hang on your every word.

Now if you paid close attention to this email, then you noticed
how I used curiosity to HOOK your interest. At the start of
this message, I promised to tell you a “secret” about talking to
women. However, I didn’t come out reveal what it was.

If I did my job correctly, you were a little bit frustrated that
I didn’t immediately reveal this secret. However you also kept
reading through this email, wondering when I would get around to
talking about it.

Hopefully you now see what I did:

#1- I promised to reveal a secret

#2- I immediately shifted to a different topic

#3- I created interest because I promised an answer

How can you apply this to women?

You use what I like to call a “Tension Hook.”

With a Tension Hook, you make a declarative statement during a
conversation which HINTS at something you’ve ‘just noticed’ about
her. The trick is to say it as a passing comment, then
IMMEDIATELY start talking about something else.

Why does this work? Because people are naturally curious.
Especially if you’re talking about them. By offering *secret
knowledge*, you’ll instantly spike her interest in what you’re
saying.

Here’s an example: Say you’re in a conversation with a woman and
you’re talking about a recent event in your life. During the
MIDDLE of the story, you pause and say something like:

“Oh wow, I just noticed something about you. Probably no one
else has said this before…actually, I don’t think I should tell
it. Anyway as I was saying…”

Then smile and immediately shift back to the story.

The key here is to quickly introduce this comment, yet seem like
it’s NOT that important for you to discuss. And in all
likelihood, she’ll REALLY want to know the answer to this question
you’ve put in her mind.

You’re literally “hooking” her into the conversation by creating
a sense of curiosity about your comment. And if you remember my
discussion of sexual tension, you know that you can create LOTS
of attraction by NEVER giving a woman EXACTLY what she wants:

Now here’s where it gets really interesting…

After making this comment and moving back to your story, a woman
will wonder what you’ve “just noticed about her.” At this point,
she’ll probably interrupt you and ask you to reveal this secret.

The trick is to NOT immediately tell her. Instead use this an
opportunity to TEASE her. For instance, if she interrupts my
story, I’ll come back with something like: “Easy there Hot Dog,
I was telling a story.” or “Wow, didn’t your mother teach you to
not interrupt people.” Then I’ll go right back to my story.

This is important because you want her to experience that
sensation of TENSION. You know something about her and you’re
NOT telling her. Most guys mess this part up because they’re
afraid to keep it going.

To really maximize the technique, I’ll continue to change topics.
Whenever she brings up the comment I made, I tease her by saying
things like “I don’t think you can handle it” or “I don’t know…
we just met” or “I’m sure if I should tell you”.

And if I’m in a really *evil* mood, I’ll make her WORK to get
the answer. I’ll say something like:

“Okay I’ll tell you, but I have to first know if you’re the type
of girl who can handle it. Let me ask you question…”

Then I’ll immediately ask a question that qualifies her. As an
example: “I really like adventurous people. What’s the craziest
thing you’ve ever done?”

This really works because you’re now getting her to PROVE herself
just to get an answer to your question.

Now you might be wondering what you should say when you finally
reveal “this secret.” Well my response will always include a
comment from one of the following topics:

* Her body language
* Her choice of clothing or accessories
* Her personality
* Her background

Specifically I like to give one of the “Cold Reading” statements
which I discuss on Pg. 229 of my guide on flirting:

Usually I’ll say something like:

“People treat you differently because you’re good looking. In
fact, you’ve probably had a hard time making friends, because you
feel like you’re being judged because of your exterior looks -
not what’s inside. You want to be liked for your energy and
personality.”

The funny thing about this comment? You can pretty much say this
about ANY attractive woman. Girls like this experience jealousy
from others and often have self-esteem issues with being liked
for what’s on the INSIDE.

Now before we move on, let me tell you something…The MORE you
build up the comment, the MORE it better pay off.

If you’re teasing the crap out of a woman and making her qualify
herself, you better have something REALLY good to offer.

That’s why it’s important to have at least a DOZEN different
generic comments to use with women. I recommend writing down a
bunch of “Tension Hooks” from the list of topics I provided
before.

Create statements you can basically use with anyone during a
conversation. Just make sure it ACTUALLY applies to something
that you really did notice. Then use one whenever you feel a
conversation is dying OR she doesn’t seem that interested.

I recommend you try using different Tension Hooks with girls.
After awhile you’ll notice that certain ones work better than
others. So keep using the ones that hook a conversation and
ditch the ones that simply don’t work.

Furthermore, I recommend you use 3 to 4 Tension Hooks when you’re
talking to a woman. Keep introducing them in a conversation.
Sometimes you can reveal right away. Others you can use to
tease and qualify her.

Finally… Remember that sexual tension is the key element to
attraction. And the best way to create this feeling is to tease
her in a fun, playful manner. This is a topic I specifically
